My Story

I am a fairly typical teenager in most ways.  Growing up in Denver, I enjoy school where I excel at academics.  I am also very active outside of school, playing volleyball and soccer year round.

Different from most kids, I have wanted to act as long as I can remember.  I found my real inspiration in March 2007.  I have always admired AnnaSophia Robb, another Denver actress.  My parents took me to see her in the movie Bridge to Terabithia.  I was incredibly moved by her performance.  My dad learned she was doing a local book signing and took me to meet her.  The day I met AnnaSophia was one of the most memorable days of my life.  I was so impressed by her. She was incredibly genuine, articulate, and intelligent.  Ever since that day, I have dreamed of being in a movie with AnnaSophia.

I signed with a local agency.  I began to book some voice over work.  In the summer of 2009, realizing I would benefit from professional training, my dad found the name of AnnaSophia's local acting coach, Su Coffey.  He called her and I auditioned for her the next day.  I was accepted into her intensive, eight-week acting course after which I was invited to sign with my L.A. talent manager and talent agent.

I have since completed short films, print work, and more voice overs.
I hope this is the year I get my big break performing in a feature film.  In the mean time, I will keep doing what I love most, acting and entertaining others.

Best wishes,

Kathryn
